The latest episode of WWE Raw kicked off with major developments ahead of Clash in Italy, as Paul Heyman hyped the blockbuster rematch between Oba Femi and Brock Lesnar. Meanwhile, Logan Paul was officially ruled out of Saturday Night’s Main Event after suffering a triceps injury, as confirmed by commentator Michael Cole.
Oba Femi Threatens Brock Lesnar
Heyman opened the show by calling the upcoming Femi-Lesnar clash one of the biggest fantasy matches in wrestling. WWE then aired a video of Lesnar sarcastically congratulating Femi for defeating him at WrestleMania 42.
Femi later entered the ring with the contract for the Clash in Italy showdown and delivered a chilling message. After signing the contract, the reigning powerhouse said that while Heyman may call it “business,” the four F5s Lesnar delivered at WrestleMania made it personal.
“Last time I was fighting to beat Brock Lesnar. This time, I’m fighting to kill him,” Femi warned before leaving the ring.
Penta Retains Intercontinental Championship
Penta successfully defended his Intercontinental Championship against Je’Von Evans in a high-flying contest filled with spectacular aerial moves.
Penta sealed the victory with a devastating Mexican Destroyer. After the match, he attempted to raise Evans’ hand as a sign of respect, but Evans refused and walked away.
Bayley & Lyra Valkyria Pick Up Win
In the women’s tag-team match, Bayley and Lyra Valkyria defeated Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez.
Dominik Mysterio tried to interfere by handing Perez his AAA Mega Championship belt. However, Perez accidentally struck Dominik instead of Bayley, allowing Bayley to capitalise with a roll-up pin.
Seth Rollins Defeats Montez Ford
Seth Rollins overcame Montez Ford in an entertaining singles contest after connecting with a thunderous Stomp.
Post-match chaos erupted as Austin Theory attacked Angelo Dawkins with a steel chair. Earlier in the night, Theory had also assaulted Joe Hendry during his in-ring concert segment.
Rey Mysterio Becomes No.1 Contender
Rey Mysterio defeated Rusev via roll-up to become the new No.1 contender for the Intercontinental Championship.
Following the match, Rusev and Ethan Page attacked Mysterio before Dragon Lee rushed out to make the save.
Roman Reigns & Jacob Fatu Face Off
The show ended with a tense confrontation between Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu ahead of their Tribal Combat clash at Clash in Italy.
After ordering Adam Pearce and security to leave the ring, Reigns and Fatu exchanged verbal shots. Reigns vowed to acknowledge Fatu if he lost, while Fatu promised to “dogwalk” The Tribal Chief.
The segment concluded with both men signing the contract, shaking hands, and touching heads in an intense staredown.
