5. Jamaica Tallawahs – 241/4 vs St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots (2019, Basseterre)
Chris Gayle lit up Warner Park with a vintage 116 off 62 balls, including 10 towering sixes, while Chadwick Walton blazed 73 from just 36 deliveries. At the time, it was the highest CPL total ever. Yet, despite the fireworks, it wouldn’t last long as a record — or even win the match.

4. St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots – 242/6 vs Jamaica Tallawahs (2019, Basseterre)
In a stunning chase from the same game, the Patriots overhauled 241 with seven balls to spare in one of CPL’s greatest batting spectacles. Devon Thomas anchored the innings with 71 (40), Evin Lewis blasted 53 (18), while Laurie Evans (41 off 20) and Fabian Allen (37 off 15) ensured the chase was completed with time to spare. The match produced over 480 runs in total.

3. Trinbago Knight Riders – 250/4 vs St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots (2024, Basseterre)
Sunil Narine set the tone with a rapid 38 (19), smashing 36 of those runs in boundaries and sixes. Nicholas Pooran was the star, pulverising the Patriots with 97 off 43 balls, narrowly missing out on a century. Keacy Carter’s unbeaten 73 (35) pushed TKR into record territory, leaving the Patriots unable to repeat their famous 2019 chase.

2. Jamaica Tallawahs – 255/5 vs St. Lucia Kings (2021, Basseterre)
This was an all-round assault with no single monster innings, but every batter firing. Chadwick Walton, Kennar Lewis, and Haider Ali all scored 40+, before Andre Russell unleashed mayhem with the fastest fifty in CPL history — a blistering 50* off just 14 balls. The Tallawahs stormed to a 120-run win.

1. Trinbago Knight Riders – 267/2 vs Jamaica Tallawahs (2019, Kingston)
The only entry on this list away from Basseterre, TKR’s record came at Sabina Park. Lendl Simmons opened with 86 (42), Colin Munro hammered an unbeaten 96 (50), and captain Kieron Pollard closed the innings in style with 45 (17). The Tallawahs responded with 226 — a total that, despite defeat, remains the sixth-highest in CPL history.
