Big news for Royal Challengers Bengaluru fans as Phil Salt has reportedly arrived back in India ahead of the final stage of IPL 2026. After missing matches due to a finger injury and flying back to the UK for recovery, Salt is now expected to return for RCB’s next game against Kolkata Knight Riders on May 13.

Salt’s Injury And Return

Phil Salt suffered a finger injury earlier in the tournament, which forced him to leave the IPL midway and return to the United Kingdom for treatment. His absence was a big setback for RCB because he has been one of their most important players this season. Now, after completing his recovery, Salt has returned to India and is likely to be available for the remaining league games as well as the playoffs.

Big Boost For RCB

Salt’s return comes at the perfect time for RCB. The team is entering the most important phase of the tournament where every match matters. His aggressive batting at the top of the order has helped RCB get strong starts throughout the season. Apart from scoring quick runs, Salt also brings confidence and energy to the team. His Fielding Skills Makes A Big Difference For RCB.

Phil Salt is likely to make his comeback against KKR on May 13. It is a crucial match for RCB as they continue their push for the playoffs. Facing KKR won’t be easy as they are on a roll, but having Salt back in the lineup gives RCB a major advantage. Fans will be excited to see him back in action after his injury break in the tournament.

Important For Playoff Hopes

RCB will be hoping Salt quickly gets back into rhythm because the upcoming matches are extremely important. A fit and firing Phil Salt can make a huge difference in close games. With the playoffs getting closer, his return could be one of the biggest positives for RCB in IPL 2026. RCB Fans Will Be Hoping For Some Fiery Opening Start From Him In The Matches To Come.
