Former Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Amir has ruled out entering the auction for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2027, despite recently acquiring British citizenship, which could have opened the door for him to become eligible for the tournament.

The 33-year-old left-arm pacer confirmed his decision in a message to Cricbuzz, putting an end to speculation about a possible IPL appearance. The IPL 2027 auction is scheduled to take place on December 16.

Amir represented Pakistan in 159 international matches across formats, including 36 Tests, 61 ODIs and 62 T20Is. He claimed 271 wickets during h
