Tambe’s remarkable spell began in the 17th over, where he dismissed Sahil Chauhan, Muhammad Usman Sr, and Steffan Gooch — striking on the 3rd, 4th, and 6th balls of his first over. Returning for the 19th over, he completed a sensational hat-trick by removing Rupam Baruah and Pranay Gheewala on consecutive deliveries.
Tambe broke the previous record held by Junaid Aziz of Bahrain, who had taken a five-wicket haul in 10 balls in 2022.
His quickfire spell helped Finland bowl out Estonia for 141, a target that was chased down comfortably with 11 balls to spare.
