He was initially slated to miss the final game at The Oval, but Gill’s comments have sparked speculation about a potential late inclusion, especially with the series on the line.
Gill also spoke about the pitch, describing it as “lush green,” which could favor fast bowlers. Interestingly, England have opted against playing a specialist spinner, which may influence India’s bowling combination. Spinner Kuldeep Yadav was expected to feature, but the green surface might prompt a change in plans.
When it comes to Jasprit Bumrah, teams naturally tread with caution. The 30-year-old pacer is considered one of the most valuable assets in international cricket and is capable of walking into any playing XI across formats.
