Gujarat Titans registered a crucial four-wicket win over Royal Challengers Bengaluru in their Indian Premier League 2026 clash at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad, on April 30. Chasing 156, GT got home in 15.5 overs after earlier bowling RCB out for 155 in 19.3 overs. Despite losing wickets at regular intervals, the Titans managed to seal the chase comfortably and climb to 10 points, though they remain fifth on the table. RCB, meanwhile, continue to hold second place despite the defeat.
In the Orange Cap race, Abhishek Sharma and Heinrich Klaasen lead the charts with 425 and 414 runs respectively for Sunrisers Hyderabad. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi sits third with 400 runs, while Virat Kohli (379) and Shubman Gill (373) occupy fourth and fifth spots respectively. GT opener Sai Sudharsan, despite a low score in this match, remains in the top 10 with 328 runs.
On the bowling front, Bhuvneshwar Kumar reclaimed the Purple Cap after his 3/28 spell for RCB, taking his tally to 17 wickets in nine matches. He is followed by Eshan Malinga of Sunrisers Hyderabad, who has picked up 15 wickets so far this season.
