Indian all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy has been taken to court by his former talent agency, Square The One, over alleged unpaid dues and breach of contract. The case is listed before the Delhi High Court for hearing on July 28, 2025, under the title:
M/s Square The One Pvt. Ltd. Through Its Director Sh. Shiv Dhawan Vs. Nitish Kumar Reddy.
In a report by News18 CricketNext, agency director Shiv Dhawan confirmed the existence of the case but declined to comment further, citing the matter as sub judice.
What the Case Is About
The petition has been filed under Section 11(6) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, which typically pertains to the appointment of arbitrators in disputes involving contractual agreements. The agency alleges that Reddy breached the terms of their management agreement and failed to clear pending payments.
Reddy had a three-year association with Square The One before parting ways in 2024. During that time, he was a visible part of the agency’s social media campaigns and brand promotions. However, he has been absent from the agency’s platforms since December, indicating a quiet end to their partnership.
