India national cricket team continue to hold the top spot in the latest International Cricket Council Men’s ODI Team Rankings following the annual update.
India remain at No. 1 despite slipping by one rating point and now have 118 points, maintaining a narrow five-point lead over second-placed New Zealand national cricket team, who are on 113 points.
Australia national cricket team retained third place with 109 points to complete the top three in the updated standings.
South Africa Climb Into Top Four
South Africa national cricket team were among the biggest gainers in the latest update, moving into fourth place with 102 points. The Proteas overtook Pakistan national cricket team, who slipped to fifth with 98 points.
The annual update gives full weightage (100 percent) to matches played since May 2025, while matches from the previous two years receive 50 percent weightage.
Top 10 ODI Rankings Remain Mostly Unchanged
The remainder of the top 10 stayed largely unchanged following the update.
- Sri Lanka national cricket team are sixth with 96 points
- Afghanistan national cricket team occupy seventh place with 93 points
- England cricket team remain eighth with 89 points
- Bangladesh national cricket team are ninth with 84 points
- West Indies cricket team complete the top 10 with 74 points
The gap between Bangladesh and the West Indies has now widened to 10 points, compared to six in the previous rankings update.
Ireland Move Ahead Of Zimbabwe
Outside the top 10, Ireland cricket team climbed to 11th place with 54 points, edging past Zimbabwe national cricket team, who are now 12th with 53 points.
United States national cricket team also made progress by moving to 13th place with 46 points, overtaking Scotland national cricket team, who dropped to 14th with 44 points.
Meanwhile, United Arab Emirates national cricket team climbed to 19th place after surpassing Canada national cricket team in the updated rankings.
