India have announced their squad for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, and the squad is a mix of experienced players and a few fresh faces.

The side will be led by Harmanpreet Kaur, with Smriti Mandhana as vice-captain. This shows that the team management is sticking with a familiar leadership group going into an important tournament.
One of the big positives is the return of Yastika Bhatia. She comes back into the squad as a wicketkeeper-batter and gives the team more balance. Along with her, Radha Yadav has also made a comeback, strengthening India’s spin options.
A fresh name in the squad is Nandini Sharma, who is yet to play international cricket. Picking an uncapped player for a World Cup is a bold move, but it shows the selectors are willing to back young talent.
At the same time, a few known players have missed out, which highlights how competitive team selection has become.
India’s core still looks strong, with players like Shafali Verma, Jemimah Rodrigues, Deepti Sharma and Richa Ghosh expected to play key roles in the India’s title hunt.

Here’s The Full Squad; Harmanpreet Kaur (C), Smriti Mandhana (VC), Shafali Verma, Jemimah Rodrigues, Richa Ghosh (WK), Yastika Bhatia (WK), Deepti Sharma, Pooja Vastrakar, Asha Sobhana, Radha Yadav, Shreyanka Patil, Renuka Singh Thakur, Arundhati Reddy, Titas Sadhu, Nandini Sharma.

Overall, the squad looks balanced. India have trusted their experienced players but also added a bit of new energy. If the team plays to its potential, they will be strong contenders in the tournament.
