India vice-captain Smriti Mandhana is among the most admired athletes in world cricket. Since making her international debut in 2013, the elegant left-handed opener has evolved into one of the most complete batters of the modern era, playing a pivotal role in several of India’s memorable victories across formats.

Mandhana has excelled in Tests, ODIs and T20Is, scoring multiple centuries along the way. In 2025, she created history by registering the fastest ODI century by an Indian woman, further cementing her status as a global superstar.

Her leadership qualities came to the fore in 2024 when she captained Royal Challengers Bengaluru to their maiden Women’s Premier League (WPL) title. Continuing her remarkable run, Mandhana currently holds the No.1 spot in the ICC Women’s ODI Batting Rankings. Her consistent performances and growing influence have also made her one of the richest Indian women cricketers.

In the WPL, Mandhana became the most expensive player at the 2023 auction, fetching a record INR 3.4 crore, the highest bid in league history. She has also featured in overseas leagues such as the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) and The Hundred, reportedly earning around INR 3 lakh and USD 75,000 per season, respectively.

Mandhana holds a Grade A central contract with the BCCI, which guarantees her an annual retainer of INR 50 lakh. In addition, she earns match fees of INR 15 lakh per Test, INR 6 lakh per ODI, and INR 3 lakh per T20I. A mainstay of India’s batting line-up for over a decade, she continues to feature in the top tier of the BCCI women’s contracts.

Off the field, Mandhana is one of the most sought-after faces in Indian sport. Following RCB’s WPL title triumph, her brand value reportedly surged by 30%. She has endorsed leading brands such as Hyundai, Red Bull, Nike, Hero MotoCorp, Garnier, Mastercard, Havells, Gulf Oil India, Wrangler, PlayerzPot, Neem Ayu, PNB MetLife, Equitas Small Finance Bank, Rexona India and UNICEF India. She also represents Bata’s ‘Power’ sportswear line and wellness brand Herbalife. Her endorsement earnings are estimated to range between INR 50 to 75 lakh per deal.

Mandhana lives in her hometown Sangli, Maharashtra, in a spacious and well-designed home featuring modern interiors, a personal gym, home theatre, library and a garden. A special cottage within the property houses her trophies and awards. Reports suggest she also owns properties in Delhi and Mumbai. In addition, she runs a restaurant named SM-18 Sports Café in Sangli.

Her car collection includes a Maruti Suzuki Swift (INR 12 lakh), a Hyundai Creta (INR 21 lakh) and a Range Rover Evoque (INR 70 lakh). The Swift, her first car bought in 2015, was gifted to her father, while the Creta was purchased for her brother. Mandhana has also revealed that while her brother often nudges her towards luxury brands like Audi or BMW, she dreams of owning a van someday.

As of 2024–25, Smriti Mandhana’s estimated net worth stands between INR 32 to 34 crore, reflecting her success both on and off the field.
