Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has etched his name into the record books by becoming the youngest male cricketer to make his international debut for India. The Bihar prodigy was handed his maiden cap in the second T20I against England in Manchester at the age of just 15 years and 99 days.
In doing so, Sooryavanshi surpassed the long-standing record held by Sachin Tendulkar, who made his international debut against Pakistan in Karachi in 1989 at the age of 16 years and 205 days. With this milestone, Sooryavanshi becomes the first 15-year-old to represent the Indian men’s team in international cricket.
